Mental Health Services

Bromley Mind provides support to people with a wide range of mental health needs, from services that help people develop the skills to cope better with anxiety and low mood to intensive support for those who have become socially excluded and disempowered by serious, long-term difficulties.

Central to all Bromley Mind’s mental health services are the following principles:

  • A tailored, person-centred approach that puts the needs and aspirations of each individual at the heart of their support
  • A recovery focus to enable people to regain control, manage future periods of distress and lead full lives
  • Respect for individuality, the ‘whole person’ and their culture
  • Maximising the active participation of those who use the services in their running and future development

Services include the Community Wellbeing Services, which are seen as a model of good practice nationally, the Peace Outreach Service for women with dependent children and Bromley’s Working for Wellbeing service.
