Honorary Treasurer

Meetings in Bromley and Beckenham
Bromley Mind’s Treasurer is a key Trustee, bringing strategic skills and experience to help us achieve our mission to enhance and enrich the quality of life of people with dementia and mental health needs.
The Treasurer works closely with the Head of Finance in advising the Board and senior managers on (1) Financial resources needed to meet our present and future needs, (2) Financial systems needed to guide financial planning and safeguard our resources and (3) Financial implications of strategic plans and key assumptions.
The Board of Trustees and Finance and General Purposes Committee meets bi-monthly. This is a rewarding role for someone with business experience in the private, public or voluntary sector, having knowledge of financial and business management at a strategic level. A recognised accounting qualification ACA, CIMA is desirable.

Employment Support Worker
£25,000 p.a. • 37.5 hours per week • Based in Orpington, Kent
Bromley Working for Wellbeing (BWW) is a busy psychological therapies service, part of the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) initiative. Bromley Mind is commissioned to provide the low intensity service and employment support. We work in partnership with the NHS provider, Bromley Healthcare. Bromley Mind is a local voluntary organisation, working to enhance and enrich the quality of life of people with mental health needs and dementia.
We are a dynamic and growing team, seeking to recruit an experienced Employment Support Worker. This is a new post and will assist our Employment Support Co-ordinator to support people with depression and anxiety who are having difficulty retaining work or who are seeking to return to work. You will need excellent communication skills and experience of similar work.
This job is subject to an Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check.
